This page is dedicated to Dave Virden the lead singer with the Daytona's.
Dave has been in Grantham all his life and since meeting his wife (who is also a dedicated amature singer) has found his voice and realised that he would like to try to work together with a live band.
Dave and george meet 4 years ago and have tried numerous times to get it together, this time it seems to have finally worked.
Dave has also been to t.v. auditions for the show stars in their eyes not only once but twice and has a very clean cut voice making it ideal for the style of music we play. His idea is to play those singalong songs that everybody knows the words too.
He tries to create a good party atmosphere where everyone is up dancing and goes home feeling great.
